communication designer /

with a passion for thoughtful design,

and the discourse it inspires.

hello friend,

I am a communication designer based in Vancouver, B.C., and recent graduate from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. An introvert and tea drinker who loves all things design; with a particular interest in storytelling and the creative process. I am a strong advocate for research-based design, that holds a central focus in content and context. Design for me, is a process that needs research, ideation, iteration, and most importantly discourse. I’m interested in thoughtful design that is both detail-orientated and which inspires both the user and designer.

Design Focus

My design focus lies in art direction, publication, typography, and branding.

I adore detail-orientated design, and specifically in the power of and craft in type setting. However I also like to change things up and challenge myself in other forms and learn new programs. Previous work has led me to dabble with packaging, data visualization, wordpress, exhibitions, and critical design.

Tea Lover

I'm a dedicated tea drinker, partial to Tetley orange pekoe and Celestial Seasonings herbal teas.

Book Nerd

There are few things I love to do more than settle down with a good book and a cup of tea.

Traveling is a luxury I wish to indulge in more often; my top two so far would be South Arica and Laos.

Plant Lady

I try to surround myself with as much plant life as possible, and plan to eventually have a crazy garden.

Occasional Baker

I'm a big fan of baked goods, and have always thought I'd love to be a cake decorator for a side gig.

Sometimes Artist

Every once in a while I enjoy the traditional arts like painting, drawing, and other creative projects.
